Why is Clive Sinclair Notable?

I am writing this from my computer, where I can rewrite, edit, font and play games. This is thanks to one, amazing man. This man made solving difficult maths problems fit into our pocket. He shrunk our televisions so they could be easily transported. Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for the extremely notable Sir Clive Sinclair!                                                                                                                                                                                          Clive Sinclair was a very productive man, who was not afraid to fail. When he invented the first electric car, it was a 20 mile per hour tricycle, not much like a normal one. He planned to sell  100000, but only sold a few thousand. However, he wasn't afraid to try. He made many extremely important items we still use today. He also invented for the good of the people, not for his own gain, announcing 'I certainly have no desire to be hugely rich; I mean, I have been, but that was just something that happened.'                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Clive was probably most famous for his work on home computers. Computers in those days mostly took up a whole room, and only could be accessed in schools, university or local computer labs. Clive Sinclair worked hard on bringing computers into the home. The result was brilliant. His invention was a small portable keyboard you could plug into your television. It was cheap and lightweight, and was very successful. A lot of adults would remember the ZX Spectrum, or the Commodore 64.                                                                                                                                     As every high school child would know, pocket calculators are very important for solving parts of complicated maths problems. And can you guess who invented the pocket calculator?  That’s right, Clive Sinclair. Before pocket calculators, there were giant adding machines that were extremely heavy. Sinclair's version, however, used a microchip and was much cheaper. He got 100,000 sales a month! So whenever you whip out your calculator, think of the man who first marketed this handy device.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Sir Clive Sinclair was an amazing man who brought many handy features to this world. He truly was notable in all aspects, and has left a mark on our modern lives today.
